Arthritis Feedback: I don’t believe there is a vaccine to prevent MS. There are a few treatment options, but they are limited, and there is no known cure. For more info on MS, try visiting wikipedia:
Arthritis Feedback: It is called NeuroVax, but I am not sure if it is out yet. In 2005 scientists were doing more testing on this drug. I have not heard of it being out yet or approved by FDA for use.
Arthritis Feedback: that neurovax isnt really a vaccine its just another, more powerful drug to treat certain kinds of ms. which are relapsing remitting and secondary progressive. If they did find a actuall vaccine that would be insane… they should spend money on a cure so they can help people with ms. and not give out shots to random people who have less of a chance gettign ms than my mom does ending up int a wheelchair by my graduation.
Arthritis Feedback: there are two vaccines out there. one is neurovax and the other is tovaxin. neither is approved or on the market, each is still in trials. they take a persons own blood and makes a vaccine specific to them.. its kinda cool.. Im hoping they work, I have had MS for 2 years now.
