Can you answer Timothy C’s question about Arthritis?:
I’ve been using the bench press for about a month now, and I’ve had great results. The problem is, about three days ago I developed joint pain in and around my shoulders. I don’t want to stop using the bench press because it’s the best piece of workout equipment I have and I’ve gotten fantastic results. Is there something I can do to stop this pain?

Arthritis Feedback: Advil liqui-jells.
Arthritis Feedback: Just use lighter weights. And don’t excercise every day- do something like every 3 days you take a break, or at least use light weights. I’d also try using OTHER excersise equipment as well.
Oh, and heating pads work wonders.
Arthritis Feedback: Yes, let up a little bit, take an anti-inflammatory (unless you’re allergic to them), get yourself a canister of Muscle Therapy Soak available at, a website that is owned by a medical practitioner. Wonderful stuff!
Arthritis Feedback: try taking ibuprophen before you work out…i have back problems and they always tell me to do that
